Our bed and breakfast at Lake Weissensee in Carinthia, which has been awarded 4 Edelweiß, enjoys a quiet and sunny location at the beginning of the village of Neusach.
Away from the road, surrounded by forest and meadows, you are just a few steps from the lake. With us you will be welcomed with warmth, real hospitality and of course with a delicious welcome drink.
Our pension is also suitable for people with allergies.
A little bit of history
The Kamenhof was built in 1967 and run by my aunt Elfriede Hebein and my uncle Ernst Hebein. In 1970, the first guests were received and thus began the era of the Kamenhof. It started with 7 rooms - at that time it was common to rent out the private rooms as well. Now you are probably wondering where aunt and uncle slept. In the attic! In 1993, the attic was converted into 3 spacious holiday apartments.
Your host
1994, a very special year! That's when I took over the guesthouse and have been steadily expanding and renovating it ever since. As a trained bank employee, I was a newcomer to this industry, and of course there were always challenges to overcome. But this task, the contact with the guests, has given me more and more pleasure and I can no longer imagine my life without it. My children, Leonie and Elena, were allowed to grow up at the Kamenhof and were always around me - or around the guests.
For me, the Kamenhof is home and I look forward to sharing this home with you for a while.
